All Abilities Regional Inclusion Week is from the Sunday 28 November 2021 to Sunday 5 December 2021.
This week of exciting activities are in partnership with Disability Sport & Recreation and leads into our inclusive, accessible and family-friendly Victorian Disability Sport & Recreation Festival. Come along and try different inclusive sport and recreational activities at Crown Riverwalk, Southbank on Friday 3 December 2021 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Inclusion Awareness training – Supporting people with disability
Delivery of a 90-minute practical inclusive workshop for clubs, with the elements of supporting people with disability to participate.
This includes the incorporation of both practical and content knowledge and learnings for clubs considering adding disability programs to their services, through the following discussion points:
Disability – broad overview
Communication with participants and parents
Gathering information needed to support. What does the conversation look like?
Modifying sport and activities
Safe and supportive environments (how we assess and modify environments)
Practical examples
