Getting to the Disability Sport & Recreation Festival 

Getting to the 2023 VDSR Festival

The festival site is on Crown Riverwalk, between Rockpool Bar & Grill and Queensbridge/William Street.

We encourage everyone to come to the festival by public transport, if possible.

 


Travelling by tram

​

  • 35 City Circle tram. Get off at stop 3 (Market St & Flinders St) and walk down William Street to the festival. This route is not currently serviced by low-floor trams. Stop 3 is a level access stop.

​

  • 70 Wattle Park to Waterfront City Docklands tram. Get off at stop 3 (Market St & Flinders St) and walk down William Street to the festival. This route is not currently serviced by low-floor trams. Stop 3 is a level access stop.

​

  • 75 Vermont South to Etihad Stadium Docklands tram. Get off at stop 3 (Market St & Flinders St) and walk down William Street to the festival. This route is not currently serviced by low-floor trams. Stop 3 is a level access stop.

  • 58 West Coburg to Toorak tram. Get off at stop 115 (Casino East/Southbank), which is opposite the festival. This route is partly serviced by low-floor trams. Stop 115 is a level access stop.

 

Travelling by bus

 

  • Bus routes 234, 236 and 605 all come past the festival. Get off at the Casino East/Queens Bridge St stop. This stop has a tactile ground surface indicator.

 

Travelling by train

 

  • Catch any train that stops at Flinders Street Station. Crown Riverwalk is a ten-minute walk from the station.

 

Travelling by car

You can park in one of the two nearby carparks – Crown Car Park | Wilsons Parking â€“ and walk to the festival site.
