Sport and recreation plays an important role in the rehabilitation of children with disability. Please help a child in hospital stay active.
Being physically active can dramatically improve a child’s overall health and wellbeing. Through playing sport and games while in hospital, a child can make new friends, become more independent and confident and work towards therapy goals.
By supporting our DSR Kids hospital program, you can help improve the lives of children with disability at the Monash and Royal Children’s Hospitals.
We run a unique, free program for children with disability that offers support, education, friendship and fun at a time when they, and their families, are doing it tough.
Once a month we visit the Monash and Royal Children’s Hospitals to showcase a different sport or activity for the children to try.
It helps them discover new sport and recreation opportunities they can take part in when they finish rehabilitation.
Can we please count on your help?
