Bequests

You don’t have to be wealthy to give a gift in your will. Even the smallest of contributions can help a person with disability in your community get active.

How to leave a bequest to Disability Sport & Recreation

If you would like to leave a gift in your will, here is a sample of our suggested bequest wording, to help your solicitor or legal adviser:

“I give to Disability Sport & Recreation Limited ABN 90 355 468 664 the sum of X Dollars ($) for its general purposes free from all duties and taxes payable upon or in connection with my death. I declare that the issue of a receipt by Disability Sport & Recreation Limited to my executors by the Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer or other authorised officer of Disability Sport & Recreation Limited will form an adequate discharge of the responsibilities of my executors”.

OR

“I give, devise and bequeath the rest and residue of my estate to Disability Sport & Recreation Limited ABN 90 355 468 664 for its general purposes and I declare that the issue of a receipt by Disability Sport & Recreation Limited to my executors by the Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer or other authorised officer of Disability Sport & Recreation Limited will form an adequate discharge of the responsibilities of my executors”.
